A beverage and dairy firm, Cedar D’Vine Nigeria Limited, has celebrated its 20th anniversary with a focus on Africa market expansion. The event recently held in Ogun State brought together partners, regulators, distributors, and staff of the organisation to celebrate the milestone.

Speaking at the event, the Managing Director of Cedar D’Vine, Mike Ewewie, explained that the firm has overcome the turbulent economic landscape over the years through its commitment to research and innovation.

“I can say that continuous learning, improvement, adaptability, and leveraging the quality people around us (staff, customers, and distributors) have made the journey great,” he said.

Ewewie continued, “The world we are in today is no longer the survival of the fittest, nor is it the survival of the smartest, but the survival of the most adaptable. For us as a company, we have seen the environment, we have examined issues, and all of that, and what we continuously do is to adapt.

“It is no longer a time when a company produces a product and gives it to customers. No, but it is about knowing what the customers need and producing that, and that is what we’re doing, and it has really paid off.”

Stressing further, Ewewie noted that the organisation plans to expand its production and distribution to other African countries.

He said, “The future for Cedar is bright because we have what people need. We are scaling to cover wider spaces, and we are going beyond the shores of Nigeria to serve other African countries.

“Between now and mid next year, we will have started producing in another African country that can cover like three countries within that region,” he concluded.

In his remarks, the Ogun State Coordinator of the Standard Organisation of Nigeria, Moshood Shittu, urged the organisation to take advantage of the free initiatives of the agency in expanding its market reach to other African countries.

He commended Cedar D’Vine for its commitment to due process and compliance with the SON guidelines.

Also speaking at the event, the Ogun State Executive Secretary of the Manufacturers Association of Nigeria, Motunrayo Elegberun, pledged the association’s commitment to supporting the operations of Cedar D’Vine.

The highlight of the event included the presentation of awards to outstanding distributors and staff.
