A finance house, Greenus Capital Limited, has secured $23m debt financing for Johnvents Industries Limited to boost operations in the agricultural processing sector.

According to a statement, Greenus Capital, headquartered in Victoria Island, Lagos, said the transaction reinforced its role as a leading provider of strategic advisory and capital solutions for mid-market corporations in Africa.

Acting as financial adviser, originator, and arranger, the firm led the complex transaction that attracted funding from development finance institutions, with the International Finance Corporation as lead participant.

Chief Executive Officer of Greenus Capital, Kunle Odeyemi, said the successful deal reflected the company’s expertise in delivering innovative financing solutions across the continent.

Odeyemi said, “The funding will be deployed by Johnvents Industries to support capital expenditure and meet working capital requirements, enabling the company to scale its operations and deepen its impact in the agribusiness and industrial value chain sectors.”

He added that the deal demonstrated Greenus Capital’s commitment to unlocking capital and growth opportunities for high-potential, middle-market businesses in Africa.
